Greek mythology by far.
I love the different gods (Zeus, Aphrodite, etc) and semi-gods they are more humanistic than the selfish Christian one.

Which is better, Hellene world or Western European civilization

In Hellene world the Greek myths were apart of religious life. You quote the myths but not the belief.

Western European civilization takes Judaic subjects injected with non Judaic material. Jesus who was a Jew did not look like some male model from Italy.

Answer: Neither one.

let me mullet over for a second...

both are interesting, complex, reveal much about human nature. I'd say bible stuff makes people behave better (generally) but but greek stuff is more entertaining.

Greek mythology! They have sexy, multiple deities embodying many parts of ancient society. You can build a million stories. And it's much more fun to comprehend an imperfect deity than an aloof, perfect, yet cruel one.
