Just be honest.

Honesty, integrity, faith, respect - all play important roles in the building of trust in a relationship.

Trust is a funny thing. You sometimes give it out initially, then if somehitng "bad" happens, you take it away. Or sometimes it is earned over a period of time (most likely this is what you do if you've been hurt before).

I say the best and most effective way to handle this issue -- and lay the solid foundation of complete trust in your relationship -- is to talk about your expectations together. Make it known to your significant other what is tolerable and what is not tolerable. What is forgivable and what is unforgivable. If this is all laid out -- the other person cannot say "they didn't know." This way, there are no excuses.

People and relationships change over time, and this conversation may need to happen periodically as the relationship progresses.

The first step is: acknowledge that trust is a crucial part of any relationship, whether it be over the Internet, phone, or in person. A contract is only as good as the paper it is written on without trust.
I think we build trust by taking it seriously and giving it 110%,” ”but at the same time recognizing how lucky we are to be in the position we're in and have a lot of fun while doing so.”

i think you work on being a trustworthy person

and only then can you keep searching for someone who deserves to be trusted...

that means, you are already valuing the trait of Trustworthiness. so you have something to offer to others..and therefore u have the strength and power to "trust" in the person that you are with...and build ur relationship on that. if anyone proves u wrong, u have the Strength to move on and find someone who is trustworthy. when you become dependent or "weak" regarding ur Values and Standards (such as trustworthiness), u allow yourself to stay with someone who may not be good for you. when u stand up for ur beliefs and are strong in what you want, you will have the balls to keep looking til u find that person who Is good enough for you.

sometimes they say if you love something u let it go. not hold onto it, u know? when u let it go, that person either learns and Changes, or keeps making mistakes until they do learn to change. or never change, but that's neither here nor there!

i believe that some people can get complete trust after a period of time but other people that have been burnt several times will never be able to completely trust again. it depends on the person, age, and relationship.

By being honest with each other, trying as hard as possible not to lie to each other, and by showing that your love is real, that is to take care, help and sacrifice for your lover without asking or expecting anything in return.

If both of you can show all this to the other, you have yourself a perfect relation. The rest comes out by itself.

I know I found my perfect relation. I am living in it now, and can not ask for anything else.
