i have asked a question that sounded a bit weird yesterday. got about 23 answers for it. but some girls started calling me names like daft, sick, etc. some said that i should try growing up and whatnot. what's the deal, you guys? i was only THINKING of doing it, i have NOT DONE IT YET! and i was asking for help, not for attacks on my character, for god's sakes! i don't think i deserve a bashing because of it!

does being judgemental not cast shadows on your morals, too? you can just answer without being ofensive, you know. you can surely express an opinion without being hurtful. i turn to one answer here: i blame it on your mother.

I'm sorry. Personally, I TRY not to judge others like that, but it's HARD. It's human nature to be judgemental. But I believe that with God, all things are possible.

All girls are judgemental. :) It's ok to be judgemental (after all you have to be at least a little judgemental to have an opinion and answer a question), it sounds like these girls were cruel and malicious though and that's a completely different thing.
Unfortunately this is life, and there are a lot of mean and petty people. Mostly these are people who are insecure or bitter or jealous. My advice is to try to keep in mind they are deserving of pity and NOT your time - so don't waste any emotional pain on something as meaningless or small as a bitter person trying to make you feel bad.
I just went back and looked at your question about kissing. Seriously, platonic kissing doesn't hurt anyone (unless your platonic friend has a secret crush on you - you could really hurt him so make sure this isn't the case before doing it). And you are absolutely right that if you do it it never ever needs to come up with your fiance/husband.
But it sounds like maybe you're too young or inexperienced to be getting married. Are you sure that you aren't rushing things? Rushing into something as important as a marriage can be far more devastating to everyone involved than a harmless kiss, especially if there are children.

I don't know what your other question was, but I can guarantee you that if you got a lot of negative answers, you are more than a little at fault, in your attitude, question, proposed action or something.
People do not attack without reason, and why do women do it, a lady told me why she does inappropriate things to men, "Because I can get away with it". Same answer probably fits this question for you.
Turn it around, if there is even a BIT of truth to what your answers were, then use the knowledge to your own benefit and remember how people thought of you when something similar comes up in the future. Then you don't have to be so embarrassed that you were an as* this time! Cheers!

Why are some people in the general population so nauseating and judgmental?
If you have enough people doing anything, you're bound to find some strange ones. And yahoo answers is open to everybody, but probably also the young with experience in computers, and teens might be more likely to come to silly rash judgments.

First of all it is called having an opinion.
Your question was up for being mocked and ridiculed and cast a very doubtful shadow on your morals and integrity (look in a dictionary for the meaning of those 2 words)...wanting to kiss your guy friend just because you are curious...and you are about to get married.
Come on, what did you expect.

Girls are just catty. Steer clear of those kind of chicks and just ignore them on here... they're the insecure ones and if you look at their questions I bet they'd be pretty lame.
I've asked some very legitimate questions on here and have gotten some really rude answers for no apparent reason... some people just don't give a crap... they're just... catty.
