Each person reacts differently to coming off an addictive medicine & most anti-depressants are addicitive, but you cannot just stop cold turkey. Your doctor may suggest a weaning schedule but you have to let your body be the guide, if you wean too fast you can have a lot of bad reactions, so try doing it slowly. Also, do a search for forums relating to withdrawal from anti-d's, there are always a lot of people who have been thru it who can help you along the way.

you will probably be weined off of them slowly when your doctor thinks you are ready.they do this so that you brain and body will adjust to being without it less and less until it doesnt need it anymore.dont ever just up and stop taking medications like this even if you feel better and dont think you need them, because you could end up worse than before you started!
