Why do the avatars have blue hair instead of black?

My boyfriend wanted to dress his avatar like him and they dont come with black hair. The only option is brown and some weird blue streaked hair. He was kind of bummed. Why is this??

I don't know...As you can see, my Avatar has blue hair as well. But, I'm sure everyone else knows that it's black...right?

sometimes, REALLY black hair looks kinda blak. i think that's why. hope this helped!
