If you like aquariums, I think you'll enjoy the Aquarium at the Pacific. I have lived in Pittsburgh, Los Angeles, and New England. I've visited various 'popular' aquariums like the Mystic Aquarium, Aquarium of the Pacific, and Monteray Bay's aquarium (I can't remember what it's called!). I LOVE aquariums and as far as my husband and I are concerned, we have rated the Aquarium of the Pacific number 1! It took us a few hours to get through it, as opposed to the other aquariums where we were able to breeze through. The species and habitats are more interesting... it's definitely a better variety than the other aquariums we've visited. We've gone there a couple of times... even took my mom down when she came to visit and SHE enjoyed it (it takes a lot to please Mom). There are definitely a lot of kids around on the weekends, which make it tough to enjoy anything but if you don't mind fighting the crowds, I really believe that it's well worth it.

It's not really worth the money or the trip, unless you have children bored at home with nothing to do. Of course there is some interesting sea-life, but you could see that on any learning channel nowadays. In my opinion, after about an hour, you and the kids will be ready to go home. I think they should add more.

yes if you like aquairms this would be right down your alley
its very interesting and you can sometimes feed the fish
at certain times of the or you can touch some of them
then for a break you could also catch Long beach
Transit Aquabus (a small boat/ferry) that would take you
the queen mary and the hotels,
the Aqualinkn would take to Los Almoitas bay

It's OK I guess, a little pricey for what there is to see and do. The good news is that if you don't like it, "the Pike" is near by.
