There is nothing to worry about. My son is 1 now and he still does it when he is very upset and crying.
It use to worry me too. Your doctor will be able to give you a better explanation.

Wade, I wouldn't wait for his next regular check up.... i would make an appointment with either the original dr. that you saw, or maybe even a different one to get a 2nd opinion. I would think that by 3 months it should have settled down. My 2nd son did this for about 3 weeks and it freaked me out... i couldn't imagine it going on for 3 months. God Bless, and always remember, you are the parent, if something is going on with your baby that doesn't feel right to you, don't let the dr. talk you into believing it is right.

Honey i would definitely get a second opinion or you can just make an early appointment with the baby doc. and tell the doc to send you to a specialist and stress how you you don't feel right about it and you rather be safe than sorry, cause we are talking about your child here and that's important. So don't just go on that one thing the doc said get some more answer cause you are the one that knows what is going on with your child at all times,i don't care if he thinks you are worrying a bit to much , YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON WITH YOUR BABY. Good luck honey, take care of the baby ok

you can take your baby back to the Dr to have him re-evaluated or to another doctor for a 2nd opinion. He needs to rule out any problems. Hopefully it is his nervous system working its self out but what if it's not? You need to go with your gut feelings and if you feel something is wrong then you need to keep asking and have test done to put not only your mind at ease but also to know without a shadow of doubt your little guy is healthy.

Your doc is right, unless the shaking has other things going on like the babies eyes doing wierd things dont worry. Your baby is starting to figure its body out. My little one kinda did the same thing then figured out how to fling her arms around and smacked her self in the face. Quite funny, she didnt think so.
