Many people IM with different rules. There isn't a real cultural norm here. Don't get uptight. That said, if he doesn't have time for you because of other girls maybe he isn't that interested in you. If it is because he is busy at home, that's different.

Honey somtimes it takes us guys time to think other times it is yahoo being slow even dropping out so you have to sign in again.I have a female friend it takes her sometimes long to answer me but I have got used to it and I put up with it because I like her and for the most she is considerate .As for your friend any or all of these may be his problem unless he admits to talking to others at the same time then i would consider that rude and move on Babe to someone who is more considerate .

You do not say that he is your boyfriend. If he is your boyfriend when you are "talking" to him You should expect him to pay closer attention to you, otherwise no. If he is not your boyfriend I would stop waiting by the computer for his next message and do something else or maybe put him on the back burner while you IM others ( maybe even boys) and see if he doesn't become more attentive to you.

Yes, you are over-reacting.
Remember phone calls? If you want him to 'talk' to you, CALL HIM!!!
It's not that he's not being attentive. It would be rude for him to ignore the people he's face to face with just to talk to you in texts. HE is being polite, and if you know the people are there, You are being rude.

Oh the wonders and stresses of technology. I hate that too. Maybe mention it- i wouldnt go so far as to get mad about it though. They might be doing something else, like homework or something.

i think you are just over-reacting.
maybe he's just busy doing something else while talking online.
it's not like he HAS to reply back lightening fast as you are doing.
if you want to beat the other girls, then call him

Yes..it can be very annoying..and its not wrong to get mad.But perhaps u shouldnt..because he probably doesnt care.If he did,the care u have for him would've been reciprocal.Maybe u should not spend so much time for him.get into other activities..enjoy a healthy life.good luck:)
