I would wait until after you finish boot camp and are stationed at your home base. You will probably be stationed out of your home state, so if you get your license now, you will have to go through changing it over to your state of residence where you are stationed. Also, you can't bring your car to boot camp and it will probably be awhile before you can buy a car after first joining, so I would wait. I know as a teenager, it is exciting to get your license, but trust me, just wait so you don;t have to go through all kinds of BS transfering it.

Your civilan license has no longer something to do with the protection rigidity. you in simple terms could watch on the community DMV like another civilian. some states have exceptions and savings for protection rigidity yet maximum make protection rigidity abide with assistance from a similar criteria (such as regulations for drivers below 18 in spite of in the journey that they are in the protection rigidity).

join the military and let them know that you can't drive yet because you do not have a license. They should be able to work with you and give you the time to drive around with a permit. once you know it you will be driving big rigs, and other sort of vehicles depending on what your MO.

Ask your military recruiter for help with this. They are working hard, sort of desperate for people to join the military, so they should be willing to help if they can at all.
