I'm sorry. Don't we need the "Greenhouse Effect" for this planet to sustain life? The "consequences" are life itself. The atmosphere "blanket" of the Greenhouse is necessary for us to live on this planet. The "affect" of the adding of gases by nature and man to this protective layer is what we have to worry about. When everybody starts talking about global warming and man, alone, being responsible, is the problem. Mother Nature puts out a lot of gases, herself. Forest fires, Volcanoes, water evaporation, etc., are just some of her contributions to the atmosphere we are talking about. Everyone has to do their part, not just blame the over abusive free world and its rich life style.

There's nothing you can do about it.. as like 99.98% of it comes from natural sources like the ocean, volcanos and every living organism on the planet.

It's also very questionable that global warming actually comes from the "greenhouse effect" anyway.

When sea level rises a single millimeter, I might start to worry. Until then I advice no one to panic, those who haven't already been radicalized anyway. Otherwise, I consider the greenhouse effect to be a good thing, it keeps the oceans from freezing.

It is too late to avoid it, it has already happened. Now the only thing we can do is minimize it if we can to a point where the Earth can begin to heal itself.

It may take a generation or two before society starts to get organized enough to make a real difference. It is going to be a rough ride for the next couple of hundred years.

Very few people are suffering from the "Greenhouse effect", millions of people are suffering from the "fear" of the Greenhouse effect.

We can't avoid it totally. But we can reduce the consequences to a manageable level.

We need to start right now.
