i was talking to my crush who "used to like me, but denies having feelings for me now because of reasons" and after talking for a while he said "i have to go finish chemistry and review for english but i will talk to you later"

does that mean he intends/wants to speak with me later, or its just a way of saying goodbye?

Hmmmm. The chemistry/english part sounds like a " I don't want to talk to you anymore ". The "talk to you later "could mean just that, or be a sign-off, like"take it easy." He may have done that as a way of saying "don't get the wrong idea, I don't have feelings for you in that way" Or, he really had to go finish Chemistry and review English.

Eh, is he a studious kid? I mean, usually, most guys would let off on the homework to talk with the girl. But if he is a studious boys, kudos kid, intellectual guy that knows his priorities.

You've talked to him before, and that conversation, you think would be considered flirty. He probably intends to speak to you later, but in a casual way. Don't overanalyze things so much. I doubt he's gonna go out of his way to search the building to talk with you later -- its probably another casual talk. I don't think it's just his way of saying goodbye, he probably does want to talk to you some time soon again.

What are these reasons that he denies his feelings for you? Did you reject him harshly when he used to like you? Well if its for no practical reason, he probably still does like you, but is on guard for some reason.

Well when he says that it usually means that he dont want a relationship with you. If yall still talk its usually it doesnt have nothing to do about us right? well if that what it is to him well dont continue to push your feelings for him i mean your way worth the time with someone else dont keep pushing your luck to get back with him because at the end he's going to keep breaking your heart ok..Hey just try not to mention any of the past to him if he wants you he will sit down with you and give you a reason why he felt that way but dont hold on to any thoughs about him let him come to you. Just do you ma and i know someone will love you more ok?

For many guys, this is simply a way to end a conversation.

0 times outta ten...guys are up for flirtatious talk if you permit it no matter who they are, who you are, if theyre in a relationship with you or not. sounds like a 'talk to you later'
have no idea what his future intentions are. peace

if he made the extra effort to say BUT i will talk to you later, then it's possible that he will call you back

it is just a nice way of ending the conversation....only if he/she
would say I talk to you at x time(hour)...then intention is to
get together and see you and talk to you.
