i know its a coupe... and well i mean the TC doesnt carry much HP, only 161.. so thats why im wondering if insuring a Tc will be under the category "Sport"?

YES.
Toyota makes Scion, and toyota makes the best cars in the world so says consumer reports. Their list of standard safety features is long and crash safety rating are excellent for its class. It is considered a sports car. It is very light and despite what you think a horsepower rating of 161 is quite the heavy weight in the sport compact class. I think this is a excellent vehicle choice and it will be cheaper to insure than most cars in its class.

it depends - insurance companies often consider all 2-door cars as sports cars. However, since there isn't a 4-door version, they may not. And if it's a hatchback (not sure if this is the case), you can call it a 3-door and sometimes slide in on the cheap side. It all depends on the company.
