I'm not trying to be funny or anything, but WHY are you planning SWEET 16 party for a male. That is a celebration for a person of the female gender. I just think advertising a SWEET 16 party for a boy is kind of girlish. But to each it's own.

DJ!!!!!!!!! big time with some of his favorite music u can find them in those yellow books. Try to get the music he likes. umm what else if ur like rich or something and have some money try to get him a car if its possible if not its ok. umm then oh yeah don't call it a "sweet 16" thats pretty embarrasing if u say it around him or around his friends just calle it a 16 party or something...make sure there is a big space for dancing and stuff like that...the last thing u want to do is throw a party in a small place trust me. try to rent something with big space big enough for dance and dj. also try to hire shefs that would be cool umm what else a huge cake nice food and something special just for him....ask him what he likes ...make sure a lot of his friends a party with a few people is L.A.M.E. lame and missing everything

oh yeah nobody likes parents butting in so just check on them every like 10, 15 minues idk...

thx JUAN SALAZAR

Do you live close to a major city. My sister took her son and a friends of her son to see the Utah Jazz. Then they stayed late after the game was over and got autographs.

If he doesn't like any sports events you might want to look into a river trip down the Colorado river. You take mule to the bottom of the canyon then meet up with expert river guide and down you go for the ride of your life. That is something he will not forget. Good luck

For starters, boys do not have sweet 16 parties. I hope you do not call it that in-front of him, that might land him on a therapist couch.

Ask him, teenagers definitely know their own likes and dislikes, and what is "cool" at the moment; unlike their parents.

Good luck with the party.

Rent a pool hall, get a private screening at a movie theatre or tickets to the best concert ever(whatever that may be this year),tickets to a sports game(hockey, basketball, baseball whatever he likes which could mean postponing to the right season) then rent a limo and send him and a few buddies on their way.Have everyone else show up at whatever entertainment you have picked. If its the sports event see if anyone you know has access to a box.

I've never heard of GUYS having "sweet 16" parties, unless they're gay..........

Watch that show on MTV about the spoiled rotten kids with their sweet 16 parties, you should get some great ideas there.

The only thing you shouldnt do is call it 'sweet 16' he might be embarressed, other than that im sure he will like any party you organize for him, as long as you dont have a fairy theme

A car-of course. A cell phone would make him feel grown up. He might not like the whole balloons and birthday cake by now, but you could always do it anyways, just for fun. Make them wear those silly hats. hehe. What does he like. I am taking my little brother to a concert for one of his favorite bands for his 16th. Just inviting a friend, and me of course. If you do that, go with them, let him know you are a cool mom, and in style too.
