I am looking for ideas/venues in the Denver area to hold an end of season party and celebration for a youth hockey team that just won the Colorado state tournament. These are high school seniors and juniors and some parents and siblings will likely want to attend the celebration as well. I am looking for something unique and different and most important, fun!! The default always seems to be booking a private room at a local restaurant or pizza joint or Fat City or something similar.

I would really like to find something special for these kids as they won the state tournament and for most of them, it will be the last organized hockey game they will play. I want to make it something special and something they will remember and associate with being State Champions.

Thank you in advance for all your ideas!!

Since you did not mention any budget information, perhaps you can get a discount on Avalanche tickets. You may try to contact the Avalnache ticket office and explain what you are wanting to do, and perhaps they have packages you can buy for an occasion like this. Maggioano's is a great family-style restaurant, which could probably accomodate your party. And with baseball starting up soon, you could probably even contact the Colorado Rockies office and see if they can do something for you. If you mention your story, you may be able to have your team recgonized at the game and that waould be erally cool for the guys! Congrats on your win!
