bamboo blinds in a rich wood color would look really cool with those colors. Or a warm brown if you have to have fabric curtains.

I don't know the style you're going for, but mine is a modern kind of country look. I painted the walls daffodil yellow, & have red plaid & solid red panels & tie up shades on my windows. I also have black appl. & alot of red accent pieces in there. It looks really good.I love the look of black & red together. I also painted the cabinets white. It makes the black & reds pop even more. Try country curtains.com, or the country door.com, for some ideas. They have sev. styles of curtains besides country.

Perhaps not yellow, nor magenta. Not orange, not black or white.

Red. With a lot of movement. In a pattern with minute touches of light lime green. Lime green is complementary to red and it will wake it up.

Beige or tan. Faux suede is so nice and easy to maintain. Good luck!

Since there are two colors and two curtains simply use black, and red.

How about a black and white houndstooth check and
for a little jazz, add some red rick rack or ribbon.
