incest and inbreeding. ain't the bible ridiculous??
according to the BuyBull, all animals and people (following the Flood) came from generations of incest and inbreeding.

God told Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply. So, technically it was incest, but we're looking at the Bible throught the eye's of today's culture, not there's. In the beginning, God set it up for them to breed with each other that way until the earth was populated.
Not sure why this is such a horrible thing if that's the way God designed it? In fact, if you think about it we all came from Adam and Eve so in reality, all mating (then and now) is incest.

there was noah,his wife, ham , shem , japeth , their wives and children and other family. my guess is within that family. god must have made it to where the incest wouldnt cause birth defects for the duration of time it took to repopulate the earth. after the earth was populated enough god made the rule of not reproducing with really close relations . its in there somewhere i cant remember exactly where. anyways im not gonna question god about y he did that but that would be my best guess. hopefully this helps.

It's a good point. One family does not make a viable gene pool. The deformations and birth defects would stack up and cause infertility within a couple of generations.

They had to multiply with themselves. How did the world get started to begin with before the flood? Adam and Eve and their children. Noah's children were married before the ark. They had more children etc.

Why should this even stump you? Your have four pairs of husbands and wives. All they need was to continue to have children who have children who have children. With a life span of hundreds of years, populating the earth would not be much of a problem.

They found a times-talbe. Twice two is four, thrice two is six, four times two is eight, and on and on......
Actually, they had their family, and presumably, they did the same thing that Adam and Eve did.
I don't believe these stories, so it really doesn't matter to me.
