I believe it means that the people you truly have a deep connection with it's almost like you take on there pain and problems to help better understand where they come from and so you have a better idea on how to help them and be there for them the way they need you. You of course should always help people but the ones you truly love is different. I am not going to meet some stranger and start carrying all of his burdens. I will listen and learn and give my best advice but I will not loose sleep over it hopefully. I am 21 and I live at home. My Dad is an addict who has so much self pity, my sister is a prositute and is a severe meth user and my mom is a over acheiver who thinks she is better than everyone. I can't have normal relationships with my family but if I took off and left I would never talk to any of them again because I am not like any of them. But if I stay and work through my pain and problems with them and understand more where they come from, things can be different over time. I have been learning to deal with my parents better and a slow process it is but slowly I see growth in my family. So I guess I am taking on there problems even though I dont want to. But God is using me to help our family change. That I beleive would count as taking on ones burden. I dont know I hope that helps a little. God Bless.

Think about what someone would consider a burden. Hard work can be a burden to some. So to bear someones burden, you would do what they wish not to do. This in return will make them smile and you have done something great....So if everyone did this there would be a lot more people smiling...Sounds like a good idea to me....

if two bear a burden it's much lighter. So instead of making one anothers load heavier (by only thinking of ourselves) lets lighten the load.
Bible says preferring others before yourself.

To bear one another's burdens means to have compassion for others. Jesus had compassion for everyone he came across, no matter who they were, what job they had, what family they came from, etc. To bear the burdens of another is to hurt with them, to cry with them, to pray with them.
Hope this helps!

it means to help others, including strangers. to be kind and do tasks that are not asked of you. for instance, if you see someone with their hands full trying to get through a door, hold the door open for them, even if it takes a couple extra seconds. if its an elderly person, offer to carry the items for them. of course this is all coming from an atheist that doesnt need the fear of god to practice random acts of kindness

Well the first thing is one of the things that Jesus taught us all to do and that is to love that person no matter what they are going through, second you should be willing to pray with them and encourage them to seek God's favor in the struggle that they are going through.

Jesus bore our burdens on the cross. We take up our cross daily.
It means to be compassionate like Christ.

It simply means to help each other. If you are a single parent and have to go out then one of your friends might help out, like being a good neighbour.

The scripture means spiritual or temporal to carry part of the load (burden) when things pile up and try to overwhelm a brother or sister. In times of sin, grief, sickness, Injury, unusual circumstances and etc.
GA 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens…
Which may be understood either of sins, which are heavy burdens to sensible sinners, to all that are partakers of the grace of God; Christ is only able to bear these burdens, so as to remove them and take them away, which he has done by his blood, sacrifice, and satisfaction; saints bear one another's, not by making satisfaction for them, which they are not able to do, nor by conniving at them, and suffering them upon them, which they should not do, but by gently reproving them, by comforting them when overpressed with guilt, by sympathizing with them in their sorrow, by praying to God for to manifest his pardoning grace to them, and by forgiving them themselves, so far as they are faults committed against them: or else the frailties and infirmities of weak saints, which are troublesome, and apt to make uneasy, are meant; and which are to be bore by the strong, by making themselves easy with them, and by accommodating themselves to their weakness, and by abridging themselves of some liberties, which otherwise might be lawfully taken by them; or afflictions may be designed, which are grievous to the flesh, and are bore by others, when they administer help and relief under them, whether in a temporal or spiritual way; and when they condole them, and sympathize with them, bear a part with them, and make others' griefs and sorrows their own:
and so fulfil the law of Christ;
which is the law of love to one another, (John 13:34,35) in opposition to the law of Moses, the judaizing Galatians were so fond of, and by which Christ's disciples may be distinguished from those of Moses, or any others. This is a law or doctrine which Christ has clearly taught, and recovered from the false glosses of the Pharisees; it is his new commandment, which he has strengthened and enforced by his own example in dying for his people, and which he, by his Spirit, inscribes upon their hearts. The Jews speak of the law of the Messiah as preferable to any other.
``The law (they say ) which a man learns in this world is vanity, in comparison of (xyvm lv wtrwt) "the law of the Messiah", or Christ;''
by "fulfilling", it is meant, doing it, acting in obedience to it, and not a perfect fulfilling it, which cannot be done by sinful creatures.
