Probably not getting the training you once had---and you kept the diet of food that kept the energy going. You are now losing the tone and endurance---morbid means dangerous---so get going on that food change and start to move around some more---increase your chances and stop whining about the insults.

I don't know you so I don't know if 300lbs is good or bad, depending on your height and muscle tone. It is a high number though, which makes me think you may be overweight. If someone tells you you are morbid obese, it means they are telling you you are very very fat (sorry to put it that way). You shoudln't be concerned about what people say about you; however, if you are in fact "obsese" you are at high risk of having a heart attack and possibly dying. I would see a doctor to find out how much you should weight and what you can do to help yourself.

If you are 6'-1" tall or less, you are considered morbidly obese. It's a Body Mass Index of 40 or higher. It doesn't really matter if that weight was an advantage to you when you played football. Sumo wrestlers are also morbidly obese, with the health effects (and shortened life) that goes with it.

When someone tells you that you are morbidly obese, it means you are overweight, and your risk of disease or death is increased greatly. Soooo, none of us want anything to happen to you, and you were once an active football player, so NOW....here is what you MUST do, so that you can improve your health and decrease your risk of diabetes, heart disease, stroke, cancer, etc. These are very real diseases that DO strike those at a surprisingly young age sometimes.

Start off by cutting down on your portion sizes, and walking....when you drop a little weight, you'll start to feel like increasing your walks and you'll burn even more calories...GOOD LUCK, YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!:)

If they are certified to deem you that, then it's not a good thing.
Being obese is having excess body fat, which isn't ever good.
And being MORBIDLY obese means that your condition is bad.
However, if it's just some random person, ignore them.
The term should only be used for serious problems.
Check with your doctor to see what you can do.

This term is what the medical profession uses when a person is over a set amount ( I think 100 pounds) overweight. It is not meant to insult anyone it is just medical terminology. I do not know you circumstances but it sounds as if you are very unhappy with yourself. Find something you like to do that also will help you reach whatever weight goal you set for yourself. Good luck to you.

I am sad to say but the person who said that to you was mentioning in a not so subtle way that your weight is putting your life at risk. As you undoubtedly know by now, the more weight you carry, the more health issues you face and will develop.
Perhaps your body mass was part muscle weight previously and now it is excessive because you've lost the athletic body tone?

When you get older your metabolism slows downs so you have to be more conscious of what you eat. If you change your diet and exercise it will make you feel much better always thing positive never allow what someone says about you to kill yourself esteem. Its not the outside of a person that people love its what you are inside is what matters most.

" morbidly obese" means life-threateningly fat, doesn't speak to whether you're a slob or not. If you were told that by someone who's medically qualified, ignoring it or treating it as an insult means risking your life.

Im morbidly obese myself I know how it feels they just half to tell you that thow because its unhealthy. And I know lots of people who where skinny when they where younger and fat now and its because when u get older your matabolisem slows down.
