Most women seem to always have an agenda about the future, success and acquiring stuff. Are there any women left who have enough self-worth just to be able to be in the momnent and allow the friendship to evolve. If any relationship has any substance it is grounded in the contentment of just being together. Any thoughts?

I would probably rephrase the word "agenda". Most women have goals they would like to attain in life. Men also have goals they would like to attain in life. Unfortunately the goals are often different. Women try to date men they may someday marry, men try to date women they don't have to marry. Hence the whole Venus and Mars theory.

I'm sure there's a lot of women who would. I know I for one am not looking for anything but friendships with guys right now, and should it develop into anything more, well then it does, but pushing for anything? Not a chance. Besides, I don't know how many guys in their right minds would be interested in a divorcee with 4 kids, so I'm being realistic here as well as just not wanting any kind of agenda (from either side) when relating to someone.

Young girls do like 18-20 do. Well I'm 16 and I live for the moment and I let the relationship evolve before I go out with the person. But it doesn't always turn out that way.

i agree...umm...i have planz for my future ...but those plans only involve academics and career...u dont plan things like love and relationships...it just happens...yeh i imagine if im in a relationship wit a guy i would just love being wit him...hanging out...and talking, having fun..cuz those are the things that are gonna make u realize that the other stuff really doesnt matter...and i believe in a relationship that grows from friendship...wont it work out better if u totally understand the person ur wit first? u would have less arguments and more discussions...and stuff like that...and u'd be pretty close to talk abt the stuff that's bothering u ...it would just be easier...

Why don't you date your self, you have an ego, don't worry when you fall in love and she says can't we just enjoy the moment see how it feels your sending mixed messages and whining about it.
