Absolutely not. I am a Christian, and that is the last thing on Earth that I would hope for.

Of course. Everything an angry 'liberal' has ever said about me is true.

No, I don't. Though, and I think most everyone can agree, true religious freedom would be nice.

Also, I'll include two quotes from an article I recently read.

From Roger Wertheimer's "Understanding the Abortion Argument" :

"For it is comforting to suppose that the conservative beliefs could take root only in a mind that had been carefully cultivated since infancy to support every extravagant dogma of an arcane theology fathered by the victims of unnatural and unhealthy lives."

"Of course, slander is no substitute for argument - that's what the logic books say - and yet we cast our aspersions with care, for they must deprive the audience of the right to believe the speaker."

In Love...

I thought that right-wing was Conservative. Conservatism advocates limited government, and adherence to the Constitution. Totalitarianism is where we are headed, with things like the PATRIOT Act, and all the "anti-terrorism" that has been passed by the Congress.

As regards a religious regime, our federal government is on record as prohibiting prayer in public schools, and paying for abortions. Several states have been promoting homosexual "marriages". I hardly think that you have to worry about a theocracy gaining control.

Recon made a good point. Jesus setting up his Kingdom...here on earth.
He is correct.
Psalms 37; 9,11,29,34 support a new life right here on earth. Obeying Jesus.
The only difference is that Jesus himself will not be on the earth. He will be ruling from his rightful place in heaven.
He came to earth once to convince us. Being perfect, he should not have to do that a second time. And he wont.
If we obey the rules of our land, it really does not matter WHERE the chief rule maker is, president or Prime Minister.
Now, you might ask, how do we know what the rules are?
We have most of them right now, in the Bible.
There may be more to come.
(REVELATION 20:12) “And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and scrolls were opened. But another scroll was opened; it is the scroll of life. And the dead were judged out of those things written in the scrolls according to their deeds.”

SCROLLS WERE OPENED...Separate from the scroll of life.

No, however I do secretly wish for lots of homemade cookies, just like my grandmother used to make. I suppose that to a liberal this might be considered the exact same thing as a "totalitarian right-wing religious regime."

The implimentation of loving religion, family values, morals, ethics, character, freedom, happiness, justice, mercy, truth and such has got to be the liberal's "totalitarian right-wing religious regime."

it truly is yet another strong question. one element that atheists are proper about is that there is fairly some loopy stuff that is going on in the call of religion. It does often times experience as if the craziness outweighs the question of even if God exists or no longer. As for even if basic people, like you and that i, are powerless, it type of relies upon on how a lot ability you imagine that you, as someone definitely have. on the very minimum, the information superhighway helps us to speak with something of the international. it truly is fairly cool!

The Medieval ages already had something like that, and it was more Atheistic in it's actions than Christian as it continuously violated the Word of God in favor of things that demonstrated the reality that the leaders didn't actually fear any god.
