I just want some suggestions on how to get over my ex. Obviously one suggestion would be to date someone else, but I don't want to because I'm leaving in 3 months for college. Are there any suggestions on how to move on? Getting over him isn't easy, but I'm tired of waiting for an answer from him. I'm done with it. What should I do?

Whenever I get to a point like this I change my look a little. I get hotter, it's more to throw it in his face. It helps me to know that other guys know I'm finally available again and getting rid of the ex only made me more desirable.
You should make yourself busy. Get a job or a hobby that puts you near lots of new people...they won't remind you of the breakup because they won't know unless you tell them.
And good for you! Be done with him, don't wait on him to make up his mind! It should have been a no-brainer anyway right! Giving him time to think about things is something all too easy to regret, you could have been moving on while he was thinking of whether or not to be with you. All waiting does is screw with your head, you're better than that, everyone has flaws including him so who is he to tell you you're not good enough for him!?!
Bad things have happened to you before right? They probably don't hurt that bad now and someday this ex will matter about as much as a broken bone you had years ago. You won't forget but you definitely won't think about it everyday either.
Just take what you've learned and keep your eyes open. There are so many great guys in college, or closer. Give yourself some time, hang out with your friends, and go get hotter. You'll be feeling better before you know it!

Let me let you in on a secret....Getting together with someone else is not going to ease the pain...Maybe its a good thing your leaving in three months, and its great that you don't want another relationship because you are...Wish more people were considerate like that with others, for that you get a gold star....
You leaving will change your environment, you will meet so many new people, college is a blast...Remember to enjoy yourself and get good grades, I'm watching you LOL just kidding....Take care (((MOMHUGS))))

omg it is like we are going through the same exact problem. my ex broke up with me because in 6 months i am leaving for college, he is so afraid and so cowardly, he doesn't want to get hurt when i go off to college so that is why he wants to break up with me now.
i am not sure what to do, as i am in the same situation as you, but i know what i did to get over my last ex (althought this current ex is different because i had so many more feelings for him). i joined the school play. it got me busy every day, plus i had work. just try and find somthing to occupy your time.
the play try-outs are tomorrow so that is my plan. hopefully it works.

Since you're leaving in 3 months, spend your time planning your move, getting to know the area you're moving to, etc.. Don't spend your time waiting for him, he just may need a reality check and if you spend your time focusing on yourself and your education and not include him....who knows.....he may realize he'll miss you more than he thought. That's tricky, but I think that you should try to keep yourself busy, find ways not to think about him( especially old memories bc those are always a killer). I myself do yoga and meditation, bc sometimes I need to clear my mind. Meditation and yoga are great ways to clear you mentally and emotionally. I am more of a relaxed person bc of the meditation and yoga. Maybe this is something you might want to consider.

I suggest you write to a pen pal. This is what kept me going for three years while I was trapped in that airplane luggage compartment.

get a hobby...something like target shooting or archery! Then place his picture over the bulleye and make a game of it!
