youll need to consider the age gap between you, even if you think its not much people in his church may feel its inapropriate and thus you adversly affect his life.
if your 17 and hes 19 (or similar) you may want to talk to him about your feelings and see if he feels the sameway, you mayfind that you become a better morman with a partner thats dedicated.

No. If you do not have the same beliefs its bound to come up. And you don't want to start off a relationship with someone when you know that their are differences that will cause someone to become defensive of their beliefs. As for the age....it really shouldn't matter as long as you are at least 18.

what are you talking not too far apart? i was 15 dating an 18 yr old but that was with my parents consent. if it is along those lines then i guess it would be ok but if you are talking quite a bit more distance then no you should not go after him and he should not be after you either. you need to be careful and talk to your parents. if he is a good mormon (i am mormon too) then he will not want to hide it from them at all. good luck kiddo and stay on the right path

you can give it a try... see if he ends up liking you.. but always keep it in your mind those thoughts a) he is a really good mormon and your not so much... and he's an adult and your not... =) when you say adult..do you mean just over 18?? just protect your heart for heart break INCASE it doesn't work out. but why not try. =) whatever you do DO NOT change your religious views or try to become more religious just to impress him.. I did that... bad bad bad idea.. you end up very very very empty in the end... whatever you have now will be more then if you try to be more like him... and in the end if you break up... big IF... you end up further then where you are now...

Would you be able to cope if you told him, and he then told you you were too young and not his type?

Only tell him if your prepared to be let down. Remember this could really embarrass him and he might then avoid you or cut you off completely.

Call a telephone counselling service and tell them your situation. They can give you lots of advice on how to cope with his responses and they are anonymous, and you can hang up anytime you don't want to talk anymore.

Good luck.

IF your not a Mormon, I would not pursue it. Now if you wanted to be closer to God and needed support I would say start there then see if things could progress.
