I don't blame them, it is a beautiful country. In fact, when I went to Puerto Vallarta last summer, the plane was full of older, retired Caucasian Americans.

All of these "haters" want facts resources, the same ones that they can't produce to back up their racist arguments!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Double-standard. Why can't they be critical thinkers ALL OF THE TIME????????

Most of the Americans that move to Mexico are rich Americans. Not everyone is poor in Mexico ... there are rich neighborhoods with mansions, and across the street are shacks with no running water.

I live in Canada, and my brother moved down there for 5 years for his company (Carmax). They lived in a 3 bedroom house, and it had all the basic amenities that we have in North America. He didn't permanently immigrate there though, it was just a temporary thing. I think there are a lot of Americans who do the same, but I doubt anyone from places like the U.S. or Canada would settle to permanently live in Mexico.

The fact you are referring to on Wikipedia does not say that they are immigrants. Most of them are probably there on a work visa.

Mexico's become a popular place for retirees to buy a] vaction home and sometimes retirement beach front homes.

You find sources and show us that they're skipping the border and living there illegally or actually "immigrating" there and becoming Mexican citizens. I can't see any American denouncing their US citizenship for Mexico's.

Pretending your assertion is accurate....

Are the Americans down there sneaking over the border and sucking up all of Mexico's public resources supported by tax dollars?

That's the dumbest statement ever posted on the internet since Al Gore invented it.
