I have been collecting Curious George things over the years and have some things that I think would look cute for a little boy's room. I'm due with my first child, a son, in a couple of months. I'm trying to de-clutter and am wondering if these things are worth holding on to. Would Curious George still be at all popular at that time? Please share your opinions. Thanks

curious george is a classic, i dont see why you cant decorate his room with the things you already have. you will save on decorations, toys etc... popular or not, your osn will love him. just add some movies and books to the collection so he gets to know him.

You should. Some of the items might be collectible and worth something. Even when he out goes curious George hold onto some for him By the time he is 20 you could get some good money for them or keep them in the family.

Definitely save them! Curious George has been around forever and is a classic cartoon/book character--he won't go out of style (like Dora and Spongebob). Even if you change your mind later, you could sell the stuff as one big collection on ebay--someone else may be looking for exactly what you have and will be willing to pay good money for the items! So hang on to them, either way you can't lose.

Curious George would never go out of style. You know it's going to be a boy you may even decorate his room now. Why spend all crazy money on decorations when you have the stuff now. PLus the money could be used for pricier furniture and other much needed items.

It's a classic. I would keep it. Most kids like Curious George...and it would be a great way to introduce your son to books.

The cartoon is currently on PBS, so I'm sure it will still be on in a few years. My 2 1/2 year-old recently saw this show and fell in love with it. Keep them, and if it is something that he is not into, then you can get rid of it.

I guess that is up to you. If you have the room to store it then keep it if not get rid of it. Maybe you have some friends who could use it until you are ready to decorate your sons room.
