if so why, shouldn't u love someone for who they are and not judge by the way they look?

I think that most times its the persons look that intentionally attracts us to them. However i think that looks do not matter much. I have dated guys who people would call average, but they where the nicest guys i have ever met. when someone is beautiful on the inside, it makes them even more beautiful on the outside.

Looks should not be counted in a person, but it is cerainly an asset, for a long lasting relationship let's face up the fact and reality soon you and your partner may be aging by then hairs turn grey, wrinklers begin to surface. In worse scenario when a person is sick he or she may be losing her hair looks may be differ if it is the LOVE that binds us together I am sure the statement 'Till Death Do Us Part' is extremely REAL

First impression is important thus looks, to a certain extend counts. A person falls for personality and marries a character thus you are correct that we shouldn't judge a books by its cover.

yes i think u should love someone for who they are and not judge by the way they look...but let's face it...who iz that compassionate in this modern world? ...while u shouldnt like someone for their looks...that doesnt excuse things like overweight or underweight...umm...cleanliness and looking ruffled and that type of stuff...i mean looking ur best sometimes...(doesnt have to b alll the time)...really spices up a relationship...rekindles attraction...and makes it more interesting...but loving onlyyyy for looks is called erotic loving...its not true love as we would call it...(and imagine im 17 and never had a relationship and i know this stufff...lol)

I know that most people say that it is not all about looks and i find that to be true because that only plays a factor in it it is all aobut who they are on the inside! I have dated not so hot guys but to me they seemed hot because of not how the outside was it was the inside... It is all about the connection you have with them!! i am all about the personality that is what gets me!!!

I believe we all care about physical attraction at one point or another-its in our instincts. Still, I think that once love is the main and the most important factor for you, all else falls away-even looks. I know old couples who stay married for years, and continue to be in love, despite any illness or condition one might be in. You need to follow your heart, not just your head.

i can't say that looks do not matter to a person but i also can't say that it's important. for me, it's a "plus" but still, personality is most important.

you don't choose whom to love. it just comes to you once you feel it.

however, looks might help since it's the first thing you notice in a person especially when you don't know the person yet. but still, i reiterate that personality will have more weight on your decisions.

we are now embelish the power of beauty. everywhere you go people are trying to look good as best as they could then so, why were you gonna find a person who is not better looking wherein anyone in this planet is already searching for one?

Looks will open the door, but really personality and heart keeps them. And sometimes personality will open that door with out looks.
