i suppose i would have to change operating systems and then would i be stuck wih the same problem. no choice is that correct?

You can't exactly 'replace' IE unless you use a different OS because it's deeply integrated into Windows. However, you can remove all access to it from the desktop and start menu, then use an alternative such as Firefox or Opera.

Sorry, the truth is Firefox is currently more functional - but, despite popular opinion, it is NOT more secure than IE.

Sorry, it's not faster either. Benchmarks have proven this - even with the 'tweaks' or the fasterfox plugin. Opera is the fastest over IE, then Firefox.

I use Mozilla Firefox, not windows internet explorer. You can download it for free off the internet and won't have to change operating systems.

The only other option is the Mozilla Firefox. I have both the internet explorer and the firefox and the firefox is way better.

You can Get another , and not use IE Anymore.

Opera
Netscape
and many others..
Firefox is best!

You always have a lot of better choices
Try another browser like firefox http://securitynewsfromthenet.blogspot.com/
or opera http://www.opera.com/download/

you can always delete internet explorer

OR

you can get another browser that's better than ie!
id recommend firefox or opera
both are good but i use firefox for its similarity to ie but better functions.
