all of a suddern my xp theme has become balnk page instead of green picturesque mountain. how to restore. why it has happend.
secondly microsoft issues the message that the software is pirated. i had run genunine update and purchased from a store. how to remove the message.

Right click on the desktop > Properties > Desktop. Change the wallpaper back to green picturesque mountain.
Maybe the Cd you bought is a pirated one.

chance are being it said you have a prirated version is why the background has changed. you can right click on an open space on the desktop and select properties. select the background tab at the top to choose what you want. also, you can call microsoft and tell them about the problem and they will re-register your copy or give you a new key to enter...

right click on your computers desk and then select properties and then click on the themes tab (default)

why dont you change it back to the green picture mountain then. simple!
