That's actually a good PART of a breakfast.
The best way to diet is to consume the majority of your calories AT BREAKFAST. Since you're going to up and moving around, you'll actually help your metabolism.
Eat the LEAST number of calories at dinner since you'll be headed to bed within 4 hours anyway.

Try not to eat too many carbs. It's so easy to grab a bowl of cereal, but that's not really the best thing to start your day. An egg is just the right kind of lean protein you need. Scrambled, hard-boiled, over easy - there are so many ways. Canadian bacon is another good source of protein that's lean and delicious. Then add a glass of milk or soy milk and a piece of fruit. Perfect! Change it up by subbing yogurt for milk, fruit juice instead of fruit, different forms of protein. But calcium, fruit and protein are the keys to a good breakfast in my opinion.
Here's what I'm doing currently about 3 times a week:
Into a blender: 10 oz of soy milk (or milk), 1/2 cup each blueberries and raspberries, frozen, 1 tsp. of sugar and 2 tsp of Benefiber (this will make it keep you full longer). Puree and pour into a chilled large glass. Drink through a straw. Delicious, good for you, low fat, and sticks with you a while! Very little cleanup and you can make it in a minute's time.
Hope this helps give you some ideas!

the coffee will help jump start your metabolism, I've heard at least 2 servings of milk a day. Try some yogurt, or some fruit. Just make sure you eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Sumo wrestlers don't eat breakfast or lunch and eat a really big meal. This puts your body into survival mode, and stores a lot of fat, so eat light healthy meals. Hope this helps
