I was at a nature reserve in the evening, and unfortunately, I was wearing capri pants. The next day, I found 5-6 typical bug bites on my lower legs. However, they became very raised, red, and very itchy, and they're very big. Now, they look just like purple, veiny bruises and I haven't been feeling well lately. I've been feeling very fatigued, slight stomachache, headache, and weakness. Do you think I should call a doctor about the bites if it persists, or is this a coincidence?

It dpes sound like an allergic reaction for which benadryl would clear it up but if it happened to be spider bites normally they have to be lanced and a 10 day course of antibiotics taken

It might be a coincidence. But it's a mighty creepy one, with the symptoms showing up after those bites. See a doctor.

Good luck!

get to the doctor immediately and get on an antibiotic, the next step might be the skin starts to die and you will need plastic surgery to remove the dead skin.
