If you are at UNE, in summer you go to Sydney or Brisbane. You don't stay in Armidale. That's if you are young and looking for action. If you are older, there is lots to do in the district.

Armidale, New South Wales or Armidale, Victoria...
The spelling is like the one in New South Wales....and I can tell you that there is not much to do besides drink or use drugs...
I dont live there but that is where my mum was born and is from and a lot of her family still live there. I have been a few times for holidays and I could never find anything to do with my cousins. They would either take me out and try to get me to drink or they get high all the time. Dont get me wrong, they are not loosers or anything like that...I have a few cousins who have degrees from the University of New England...
Armidale is mostly a uni-town...young people doing what young people do...
