My husband is planning a trip for the family. But I hesitate to travel with a baby (8mths) and a toddler (3years). So to compromise, I'm looking for a trip that is friendly for the children. Any suggestion? Eg: Australia, Phuket Club Med or Hong Kong Disneyland?

Aust - Perth is less crowded, more laidback and relaxed than the East Coast cities (Sydney & Melbourne) with lots of wide open spaces and nice beaches and parks; there are zoos and farms for the kids too. Good medical care too - just in case - and most importantly, more uniformly pushchair/stroller friendly than all the SE Asian countries. You'll find more shopping centres with nursing rooms there too. And if you are breastfeeding, do take note that SE Asia is more conservative so nursing in public is not as accepted as in the West. Once they are a little older, the other countries would be nice for them.

Considering you have a 8mth-old baby, I'll recommend:
Hong Kong - Disneyland
Singapore - Sentosa/Zoo/Night Safari
Malaysia - Sunway Lagoon

i'm additionally a breastfeeding mom and that i do now and returned would desire to realize this in public (my daughter would not take a bottle). i think of the subject is that breasts have become such sexualized products that they at the instant are taboo. i in my view think of it incredibly is stupid, after all breastfeeding is using breasts for their meant purpose! That being pronounced, on account that this prudishness and fetishization exists in our cutting-edge society that is sort of fantastic for a woman to easily "whip it out" in public and that i've got constantly used a conceal to guard my privateness (yet i think of that is because of the fact i've got been conditioned to experience ashamed). That being pronounced, i don't get the subject with the Angelina Jolie photos. they're tasteful and you notice not greater of her breast than you do of the Virgin Mary's in lots of photos of her breastfeeding Jesus. returned, i think of that is greater an oversexualization and objectification of ladies people who creates this concern.

Hongkong Disneyland, as I would imagine..
because they are trained to do this to their guests.
In other countries, depends on how friendly the people are to foreigners.
