You don't necessarly have to throw it away unless it has been 3 months or so. There is a soak that you can get in the dental area that will sanatize your toothbrush or you can soak it in bleach (1T) and 1-2 C water. That will also kill the bacteria after the virus or a good treatment once a month.

Absolutly Yes! Toothbrushes are an excellent breedingground for bacteria since they are moist and many viruses are stable outside the human body. So brushing your teeth with that same toothbrush will put the virus back in your body again. Throw it away and get a new one!

Technically since your body has recovered from the virus you now have some antibodies built up against it so you couldn't recatch the same virus from you toothbrush. But that being said it is good to change toothbrushes often so this is as good a time as any so why not.

If I definitely have a cold or sore throat I submerge it in one day somewhat. you are able to purchase little extremely violet lighting fixtures that kill the bacteria on your brush. you in simple terms rinse it sparkling and placed it in this little gadget and its waiting to flow for the subsequent brushing. if you're fairly in touch, you should purchase this type of lighting fixtures, yet i don't believe of its mandatory. The mouthwash looks to do the trick.

You can always run your toothbrush through the dishwasher. I do this with my kids' toothbrushes. I also have a sanitizing cycle that I use.
