It's very hard at first to forget someone, especially when she flirts with you. I can't believe she didn't mention to you that she had a boyfriend! My son is 21 and going thru the same thing you are. I'm sure you aren't desperate and I'm also absolutely sure there is someone for you. Don't give up!
There's an old saying that says,"Time heals all wounds". It's true but it may take you awhile to realize that. Does she know how you feel? Maybe if she keeps flirting with you, you should tell her. Her telling you that she's not interested may help you forget her. No matter what keep looking because just when you least expect it, someone will come along. Good Luck!!!

This sort of thing happened to me a couple weeks ago... I liked this girl (who was my friend) but she had a b/f so i was trying to stop liking her... This method may seem odd, but it worked:
1. Tell your other friends about how much you like her.
2. Talk to them about it, or just do something to express how much you love her.
3. Do everything possible to express your love for her. What this does is it gets out every last drop of affection you have for her.
4. When you feel you can't show your love anymore than you already have, then what you do is find a girl that is single, and see if you like her.
5. This will be hard to do, I guarantee it, but cut off all communication between you and the original girl you liked. Instead, spend more time with the new girl you have found.
6. Once you and the new girl are dating, and you feel you can be around the old girl without being heartbroken, go back to being friends with her.
I really don't know if this will work for you, but it did for me.

It is a guarantee that you will live through this. She may not realize she is flirting. She may feel that you are her friend and treats you like someone she can trust or joke around with.
If you can't come to terms with being her friend, start distancing yourself without being rude. Just smile, say hi, then find someone to talk to or excuse yourself with something like "I have to find my homework/pencil/watch/...before class starts" or "Got to catch Joe Blow, quick!". Have something believable ready before you run into her and use it only if she tries to engage you more than 'how are you' or 'have a good weekend?' Give her a simple answer -don't be rude!- act natural and move on.

KEEP LIKING HER , B/F DONT LAST FOREVER U KNOW. If it is hard to be around her, nit pick the girl to death. Find every possible flaw, then obsess over it until the sight of her makes u physically sick at your stomach
I think this will work, though I wont SWEAR to it

Get you another girl that interests you. That should do the trick.
OR if there is no other girl who you fancy, make one up when you talk to her. Make it sound like you 2 are ment for each other.

it is hard to deal with a girl who says she is dating someone else, but still flirts with you. you should find a girl who will like you and not flirt with other guys while you are dating.

aawww... you must really like her... anyway, i think you must not stop yourself liking her. maybe, someday, you two will end up together. :) but if you insist of stopping your feelings for her, distancing yourself from her would help...
