Is it some type of workout in a pool?

Deep water running is an alternative workout I use for my injured athletes. It sucks and they hate it but it does the trick. Also, it's great for older people who can't/don't want to do laps or jog. It's very low-impact but does have an element of challenge to it since it works the core quite a bit.

you run in the pool the friction causes resistance working out your body more but with less strain. it is a good workout especially during the summer

o i thought it was a breath holding strategy - when u put on a weight belt and run on the bottom of pools or in the ocean

People put flotation belts around their waists to keep them afloat. They get in the deep end where their feet can't touch the bottom and jog.
