heat is not generated from a molten rock. hear is inserted in to that stuff when it is melted. when heat is inserrted to the rock its molicules increase vibration therefore it looses its shpe and become a melted rock.

then because rock has energy it emits that energy as RADIATION HEAT. most of the time this energy is in Infrared Range.

addition to radiation heat loss rock losses energy as convection heat loss. after loosing substantial amount of energy its molicules become stable and rock become a solid
