People will tell you that it depends on which engine you have. They're wrong. It really depends on throttle input more-so than displacement. With either of the two V-8's you will generally average around 15 in town, and about 19-21 on the highway, however, you can improve these numbers if yo're willing to feather-foot the gas pedal when taking off from a standing stop, and ease your way up to speed. I have experienced up to 19 in town, but it's annoying after a while because your acceleration is so slow, to maximize your fuel economy requires some patience.

It depends on the motor however in general, around 18hwy/12-14 city. The government MPG ratings are always way off.

It can have the 4.6 or the 5.4 V8. I got about 14 city and 18 hiway. I had the 4.6
