Try taking a nice hot shower and massage a ton of conditioner all over your scalp and roots. I bet that would make it feel better.

I think that either:
a) You were out in the sun and got a little sunburn on your scalp
or
b) You usually tie your hair up, so now it is "trained" to stand up. Now that its own weight has been pulling it down all day, it has made your scalp a little sore.

I know the feeling, I get it all the time (sometimes even when my hair is down) normally, I'll just take a shower and really scrub my head when putting on shampoo. It always takes care of my hurting head. I hoped this helped!

maybe the scalp got used to the feeling of your hair being tied so right now even though your hair is not tied it leaves the sensation of still being held up, or maybe you've just got a cold or your sinus is congested it also brings some headaches ^^,

How did you wear your hair today is the question. If you wore it up in any way, thats what is causing it.

this happens to me sometimes. it's really annoying, but it goes away. I don't think anything's wrong with you. It's probably just the humidity.

how long is your hair. for some people long hair causes problems because it is so heavy.
