what did your doctor say? that's the only way you'll get antiobiotics. kleenex doesn't hold warmth like a washcloth would. do you have an ear infection?

Illness will make you sleepy and lose energy.

Call the pharmacist where you filled your prescription and ask about the side effects, and what to eat or not eat with the particular antibiotic that you are on.

Ask what is the best painkiller for your age to take for pain. Perhaps Tylenol. The Pharmacist should know how much you can take for your age and body weight. Too much Tylenol is dangerous.

Ask your doctor about prescription for pain.

Try a heating pad for your ear, hon. One of those microwaveable kinds can really help.

Get well soon. Peace.

Please call your doctor in the am and ask them, also you could phone your pharmacy and talk to them. Depending on the antibiotic and other meds it could make you feel sleepy especially if you also have a fever. The med bottle should tell you when and what to take your antibiotics with.
Hope you feel better soon.
p.s. For tonight you could take a bag of frozen veggies and wrap a dish towel around the bag and put it against your ear for a few minutes. If your ear is swollen, then the cooler temp might help.

The pills come with instructions or ask the drug store druggist you got them from--can you ask the doctor if that doesn't help. A clogged tube or ear wax build up is painful--try to aim a hair dryer on warm setting at the ear but don't burn yourself...it has to be done carefully to get the warm air in the canal to expand the clog---a temporary fix that might help.
