Is it ok for a 30 year old girl to date a 27 year old boy? Of course it is. People seem to really focus on the age differences while in the teens. I think it's ok as long as it doesn't get extremely serious before the youngest reaches 18 or 19.

If you're only dating for fun, it's ok. However, girls tend to go through a very rapid change around age 24-26, when all of a sudden their hormones kick in and want to get married, have babies, and all that stuff. Believe me, I've known girls who at 24 said they would never get married, and at 25 they were desperate about having kids and settling down. Guess what 22 year-old boy wants to get married...

I always said age didn't matter, but now my girlfriend is turning 26, I am 24, and we are starting to develop problems. She wants to settle down, and I'm just not ready yet. It is not about not loving her enough or wanting to play around (I was never a "player"), it is just that I am at the phase when I started to build my career, and I do not want to rush anything until I have a stable job and a reliable income. Whether she wants to wait for that, we'll just have to see, and I really can't blame her if she doesn't.

Legally, no, at least not if the relationship is sexual. However, let's face it --- that's a difference of three years. It's not a big deal age-wise. Experience-wise, there's probably some barrier (the 20-yr-old is likely to be on their own and in college/work, whereas the 17-yr-old is probably at home and in high school), but if they're willing to give it a try, by all means, give it a try.

i don;t personaly see anything wrong with it.. 3 yr diff. and well where i live 16 to 17 is parent consent.. but still the girl can be charged for statutory if male wanted to do the charges.. it messed up .. old enough to make decisions but can turn around and change mind after fact and ruin lives i seen it b4.. so umm be careful..lol
