You dont need a bypass switch for the N-1. All you have to do is ground the light green wire.

If you want to hook it up to a switch, then get a toggle and hook one side up to the light green wire and one side to ground. Then you can turn it off or on.

As far as hooking it up, all you have to do is wire up the harness and run the antenna and the din cables to the brain. On the brain theres only two single wires, one (Pink) needs to be tagged into the vehicle speed sense (VSS) and the other, purple with white, needs to be tagged into the reverse wire of the vehicle. Neither of these wires are required, but they make the gps more accurate and its what makes the speedo thats built in the unit read correctly.
