For basic macros go into Tools, select Macro and select Record. Name your macro. If you want a short-cut key put that in as well (such as Ctrl S to sort).

Do everything like you normally would. Once done, press the stop button that appears (a small box). That's it.

To run your macro press the short cut key (if you made one) or select Tools, macro, select the macro you just made and click on Run.

If it doesn't work, it may require some editing. Send me details by Answers e-mail and I'll give you further instructions on how to fix it.

recorded macros are pretty limited. If it doesn't do what you want e-mail to tell me what You want and I can probably write the macro for you.
