Let her know that you would like to get to know her better. Go out on a very casual date. Something fun to show your outgoing side. Take her to pizza/dinner and miniature golf. Go paint balling. Find a way you both can enjoy the date but enjoy each other as well!

How about, just asking her. Let her know you think she's interesting and you'd like to go to dinner or coffee or miniature golf and get to know her better. Avoid movies, concerts, clubs or places where you can't really talk for a first date. She may tell you no, but the one thing you can be pretty sure of is, she will never go out with you if you don't ask.

go up to her or call her and ask her if she'd be interested in going out for a pizza.....pizza places are great for a first date; not real quiet so you can avoid all the silent moments, and you can talk and get to know her.
