Try http://www.webmd.com, this site is a huge database of health articles as well as a drug database which shows all kinds of information ranging from drug uses to side effects. You can click on the "Drug and Treatment" tab and enter the medicine name in the search bar.
You can also try http://www.wikipedia.com, it's an online encyclopedia. If you type in the medicine name it will tell you all kinds of information about it.

You will find many places that offer information on the medicine you are curious about.
