A lot of people know the term friends with benefits.
Is it normal for friends with benefits to make out and then for one to ask the other if they can feel the other up? They might as well go out, no?

Uh no. That is kinda diferent in a VERY subtle way. Relationships are not cut and dried. There are no real hard lines, only grey fuzzy vague borders. That ismn't normal, anymore than anything in any relationship is normal. As long as both parties consent it is pretty much acceptable, though any consequences for any actions that happen must be dealt with. Everyone is responsible for their own actions.

This depends on the people involved, One cannot and should not assume he can touch her anytime. He can however make an attempt at touching and see how she reacts. This is if they have experienced each other before. If she either backs away or says no, it's over for the night. If you want more than that, find someone and get married and she will say no even faster:)

Friends with benefits means one friend uses the other friend for whatever purpose...It has nothing to do with actually being friends at all...unless you would use your friend for a doormat and wipe your shitladen shoes on a friend. Because basically that is what they are doing.

I don't believe in friends with benefits.

2 things

1) It gets really awkward and ruins the friendship

2) One or both of you develop feelings, therefore ceasing the "friends" part of the deal.

There, i present you with the actuality of "friends with benefits", and why it doesn't work.

Good luck

Normally friends with benefits means that you both get physical.feeling eachother up is only the begining of 'friends with benefits.' [normally] but there are no strings attached, no commitment.

maybe the other is just affraid of commitment.
