I met a guy and he seems pretty interested- he tells me he has a gf- but is still trying to talk to me. What is going on?

hes a player plain and simple...my friend was in the same situtation and ya he told my friend he left his gf for her but she found out a couple of weeks later he never even broke up with her...soo you tell him dont tlk to me unless your done with ur gf...if he does break up with her then go ahead but if not ur wasting your time..theres plenty of more guys out ther...goodluck

One of a few things could be happening, and none are good, though one is marginally better than the others. In the first case, he could really have a girlfriend, and really be interested. If he keeps talking to you, and is interested, he is probably interested in cheating on his girlfriend. You need to think if you really want to date a guy you already know is a cheater. The second case is that he isn't actually interested. If so, he's just talking to you because he wants to be friends. You can cautiously start up a friendship, but if you're interested in him as more than a friend, this is probably a bad idea. A final possibility is that he's lying about the girlfriend, either out of some insecurity or because he's trying to manipulate you. Regardless, this is pretty much as bad as the first case: don't bother with him.

Be his friend only, if he want's more let him know your not cool with him having a gf .

If he wants to start something with you, then he should be loyal to you and not some other girl. Tell him this. He can be friends with other girl, but his loyalty should be to you.
