Regarding Bullwinkle's answer above, I find it hard to believe he ever practiced law, much less sat on the bench.
The Kurds have produced videos thanking the United States for liberating them, and nearly a full 50% of all Iraqis feel things are better now than under Saddam.
Judges, even retired ones, should be better informed.
