Assuming your talking about a home made DVD of your friends playing soccer or something of course, (wink wink- will work with all anyway) then DVDshrink will be your new best friend! Dvdshrink, along with DVD decryter are both free, simple, and let you choose many different options including taking out menus ect. and choosing the compression (ie. size of dvd and quality). Just type each into google and BAM. Your set for life :D

if you have an file shareing progi look for slysoft their are 4 progise you need 1..any dvd 2 clone cd 3 any dvd mobile 4 clone dvd.they all work together and their simple to use and easy to understand.. install the any dvd last and any time you want to burn open it it will let you remove things on your dvd to start with regon code copy protection other movie previews and more

There are lots of program to rip dvd but you want then imtoo its very good s/w to rip dvd and you will get imtoo.com trial version then crack it through easy cracks.net site

Best one is dvdfab and clonedvd with anydvd I rip movies all the time and use these with the latest movies and it can get past the css and protections unlike shrink and decrypter
