When I hear the word Marine, I feel an overwhelming sense of pride... in what the uniform means, in what being part of the Marine Corps family means to me and my family... in what being a Marine has done for my son... I think of my son and the lifelong friendships he has made and I'm so thankful that when he's deployed he's had the best training and is surrounded by America's best... and I think of the Gold Star moms and dads I know and love...
USMC. Nothin' else even comes close! uuUU-RAH!!

Bad-*** is part of it, but there is more to it than that. There is honor, courage, and professionalism. They are better than anyone in the world at what they do.
Almost 20 years ago I was deciding whether to join the Marines or the Air Force. I chose the Air Force and Jun 07 will be 20 years for me.

Alright! Marines are sexy. The first thing I think of when I hear marine is how invincible they are. They really are bad a@s. They fear nothing and go into enemy territory first to lay waste to danger for the army to come in later. When it's safer. The marines are the toughest. They are even taught hand to hand combat! Cool. They are so hot.
They have the sexiest dress uniforms too. They're called dress blues. You also have to be smart to get in unlike the army. Marines rule.
You are going to be so hot once you become a marine.
I'm melting!

Thank you to all my fellow service members and their family's
and thank you to all of my Brother Marines and their family's but most of all and far above everyone ells, Thank you to my Brothers who are guarding the streets in heaven right now and thank you to your family's who now struggle on with just your memory. You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten.....We miss you everyday. Thats what I think of.
