I dated my ex for 2 years, it was going well unitl he made many more friends and basically forgot about him, since i left alone and angry with all the time, i cheated on him, once, and took breaks. He told that he would change but in the end he didn't. I broke it off with him. It's been two months and i think of him very much, cause he was my only true friend, but i know it was the best thing to do because he didn't love me like i did. I I met a new guy who is wonderful and everything i can ask for, but i always find myself missing my ex very much, and sometimes i fell like i want him back, why do i want him back if i know that i will end up with the same things that had always happened?

So, accept the fact that you will always love him (for the good things he's given you) and will always have a special place in your heart. But you must accept the fact that it's not worth going backwards. You left for a reason!!!

cuz you still feel very much for that person meaning that you still love them care for them and respect them and trust em cuz they meant everything to you. you should just try to keep busy and whould you think he would take you back after you said you cheated on him? i have the same problem as well. me and my ex of 4 years recently broke up we both admitted that we cant let each other go either. she with someone but im not. but she broke up with me in a very bad way and some reason i still talk to her after everything she's done 2 me.

I had a hard time getting over my boyfriend. I got really angry at first, but then I realized there will be many more. I'm friends with him now, and that whole other part of my life with him is gone, which is how I want it.

i would think that even if u and ur ex wouldve had a horrible break up, even if u wanted to hate him, u would still have feelings for him underneath. theres this guy that liked me alot, and we dated, then i told him i think that we would be better off as friends, it hurt him so much, he started to kinda be a jerk, but now he really dont even talk to me, but i can look over at him and he will look at me with these intensely sad looking eyes, i feel bad sometimes but u have to move on,

It is hard sometimes to let go of someone you loved. Basic feeling. Try to meet someone else that meets your needs. hope this helps.

in your mind you romanticize the situation. you want him to be something he is not - for you. you look at it as a challenge and you still want to win. all you will win is the unhappiness you had. you cant be happy with what you have because you think it is to easy. good luck.
