I saw a program on the THis Old House program once this guy had a slow draining bath tub -- he thought it was clogged it turns out the drain thing( the little plunger thing that goes up and down when you put the little drain lever) was misaligned .. they realigned it so it opened all the way and the drain worked correctly -- will google some stuff -- Howstuffworks "How to Do Drain Repairs: Tips and Guidelines"

If it's still more or less working, I've found a gallon of bleach poured down there will make it work better. Sometimes you have to use two. I use it in my kitchen sink all the time, too. If it is actually clogged, not draining at all (you said slowly draining, so I assume not) then don't use the bleach, if it stands in the water it can fill the whole bathroom with the smell, which will eat your sinuses, and is very bad for pets and children.

Good old fashion baking soda, pour it down, wait wince it through, Janola works great too, pour it down and wait
If it's a mass of hair pushing something like a wire down and jiggling it will dislodge it

if all else fails get the plumber to check for roots further down the pipe

Use lye. It is sold at most hardware stores. You may have a bit of a problem finding it though bc it is used in the production of methamphetamine.

Take the panel off, unscrew the "U" bend, remove, stick your finger up the pipe, pull all the hair, snot, more snot and mank out!
Clean the "U" bend and replace.
HORRIBLE JOB, be warned!
